Pushkar started his career in IBM with the IBM Java Runtime, working on the JIT compiler. He also contributed to the Java class libraries before switching gears into the world of open source. He spent four years working on Apple's open sourced Swift language and then on IBM's Kitura project, making server-side Swift a reality. Early this year, Pushkar moved to the IBM Cloud Pak for Apps project and has been a part of the Accelerators team, focused on helping cloud-native developers quickly bootstrap applications and make quick iterations too. In his Swift stint, Pushkar has spoken at half a dozen conferences in India, US and Japan
